TANDOORI FRIED CHICKEN
Sharing a recipe for Tandoori Fried Chicken today. Who doesn’t love ChickenTandoori!! A little description of the dish and its background before the recipe – Tandoor is a type of cylindrical clay oven, used to prepare the famous tandoori chicken. The chicken is marinated with yoghurt and spices and then grilled in the tandoor. The popular variations of this dish are chicken tikka and butter chicken.
I make this chicken using the short list of spices as mentioned in the ingredients below. At other times, I have used the store-bought Tandoori Masala pack also, but I prefer the home-made recipe. The food color I have used is optional. Though it is not ideal to use this, but I just love the attractive red color! You can replace red chilli powder with Kashmiri red chilli powder which has a dark red color. I shallow fried the chicken for a change. You can grill it in the oven or barbeque!
